Jen brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development - and a passion for shaking up what’s possible.
She’s led from every seat at the table: executive director, board chair, fundraiser, policy advocate, and team builder. As the founder of Skipping Rock Strategies, Jen partners with nonprofit leaders across the Northern Rockies to strengthen internal capacity, build smarter fundraising systems, and align mission with momentum.
A lifelong learner and process nerd, Jen is equal parts strategist and implementer. She’s known for designing custom solutions grounded in real-world constraints - and for actually sticking around to help bring them to life. Her clients trust her for her clarity, creativity, and commitment to doing the work in a way that feels human.
Prior to launching Skipping Rock Strategies, Jen served as Executive Director of YWCA Helena and led statewide programs focused on civic engagement, community wellness, and judicial accountability. Whether she’s guiding a strategic planning process, coaching a leadership team, or stepping in as a fractional executive, Jen brings a deep respect for the work—and a fresh perspective to doing it better.
